Cancel your 401 k in case you are cash strapped. 2) Cancel your United Way. 3. Stop going into the office, you can check your e-mails and career path remotely. 4) change your email to your home e-mail. 5) sleep in a few days so know how good it feels. 6) copy down any contact #s you might need. 7) Chin up, this gets easier after about the 3rd week of getting sacked. 8) start looking for cheaper wireless, internet and cable providers as unless you are MODIFIED rule of 75, your discount are gone. 8). Get your facts straight, don't assume anything until you have it writing. Talk to a certified financial planner about what your options are re 401k and retirement. Insurance salesman do not have the same official responsibly so don't get any annuity from them.
