Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Sounds like traditional retail to me

It’s a shame that in the traditional retail is trying to redefine itself, that we are trying to be traditional retail. We have the chance to be so much more to our campus partners. I do believe the transformation has been completed. Horrible culture, high turnover, lack of meaningful communication, understaffed stores and being spied in. Yep, sounds like traditional retail to me. Congratulations.

Layoffs are coming, wage increase on not. Also contracts are up so some may be out of jobs. It's a tough reality. Hate too see anyone without a job.

Today's raise causes tomorrow's layoff. It's Orwellian. It's follett.

Bottom line is wages need to be substantially increased. Employees stay on the job if wages are fair for work expected and performed. Respect and appreciated employees and moral will increase also. Twenty cent raises once every three years and they wonder why employee bolt. Why stay people GO!!
