Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Folks, look at who they keep. Look at how they staff. This is the company you work for. They've transformed from idea people, relationship people to paper pushing, list avoiding, arse kissing drones. They keep and promote people devoid of any quality that would have made that same person attractive 15 years ago. This company is lesser than it had been. However, it's not lesser than it will be.

It’s a shame that in the traditional retail is trying to redefine itself, that we are trying to be traditional retail. We have the chance to be so much more to our campus partners. I do believe the transformation has been completed. Horrible culture, high turnover, lack of meaningful communication, understaffed stores and being spied in. Yep, sounds like traditional retail to me. Congratulations.

VP's and above are safe. Not sure why since they are devoid of ideas on how to streamline processes and figure out how to improve sales. Instead it will be the worker bees.

Not SM, they are leaving on their own. All their help has been taken away, added responsibilities no additional pay. Many years of talent leaving.

So many manager jobs are available at folllet , assistants are being over-looked for new incompetent low paying hires that laugh at the wages and walk away.

SMS not being targeted, better job market with MUCH better pay. It’s those sm’s who have been waiting to get out.
