Basically, until this whole latest restructuring (or whatever it is) is over, nobody is safe. Which means that every quarter we'll go through the same stress of anticipating exactly when layoffs will hit, where they will hit and who will be affected.
To say that is not healthy is an understatement. I really wish they decided to do it all at once instead of dragging it on like this.
As I said, this year will be horrible.
Start saving your paychecks everybody. Be financially prepared, because you never know when your number will come up, but it will eventually.
Put off on that new car or TV you were looking for. Have at least 6 months expenses saved up. Anyone living paycheck to paycheck with an unstable employer like this is asking for trouble.
It's tough not knowing...so much information is hidden and I find upper management not being forthright. So many field techs on the DTV side not showing up for service call appointments and the are not held accountable. ...they don't even call them....Customer service is being impacted severely. Management is not interested in solving this issue.
No doubt this place has found a new home for lots of spiteful and treacherous management , Viper type

These outages are nothing, peanuts, compared to the blunders upper management commit.
I know if it was my company, I would want my employees to be focused on getting the job done, customer satisfaction, etc....AT&T has made its employees focus on how to survive, anger, rumors and fear. Let's all collaborate around that water cooler and figure out how we won't get hit in the next round cuz rhats so productive. So very sad.
