@tyx, well here’s the thing, if the LA Times actually printed that, their not wrong. Consensus on the Street, for earning only, was $0.85...T covered with $0.86 which goes into the calculation for Cash Flow we all hear about.

OP, the Wall Street consensus is that T is a "Hold" overall. In todays technology of iPads, iPhone, texts emails etc.....there are no secrets any longer, nowhere to hide and pretty much no backdoor conspiracy’s between analysts and the company they cover.

Could it happen, yes. Was it a much larger problem in years past, it certainly was. Nowadays, a bad analysis by a Financial corporate will lose business in a hurry, and bad news travels extremely fast.

They’re not perfect, but accuracy is their Lifeblood.
