Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

No wonder older employees are being laid off

I read this today and thought it fits AT&T perfectly:

Employers today are ideally looking for an employee with the wisdom of a 50 year old, the experience of a 40 year old, the drive of a 30 year old, and the pay scale of a 20 year old.

Emphasis on the last one.

Total BS. I am 62 and had just shy of 40 years. left on 4/6/18 and hired 5/16/18 with a fiber optic company.

Globalism. Has created a drive to the bottom in terms of wages and working conditions.

If they are seeking that then they can pick any one, they wont get more than one consistently. Wisdom ALWAYS come with age and experience.
