Lies reported to the media

Not one person attempted to call out AT&T on those hiring numbers (Business Insider had them in the story). We are talking the surplus of full-time permanent employees and there is no way AT&T has hired 37K new FT permanent employees in the past 24 months (+1500/month).

The company's HR/job website has never advertised anywhere near the numbers to support AT&T's claims on hiring and the joke that this is affecting only legacy parts of the company is a lie.

Mobility infrastructure was strong hit by surplus for the yet another quarter and has been getting hit hard for the past year and a half.

Slit the wrist of the one arm generating serious revenue and wonder why AT&T has fallen in consumer confidence when talking wireless networks.

Randall should have been let go right after the $35B T-Mobile debacle, so there won't be the $42B DirecTV money throw, and the $85M TW you never know let's try our luck bet.

I know of many hires in our org in the past two years...They were ex Bell South contingency and hired a slew of contractors and friends...Not sure how but the job posts if at all existed for a week at most...Also, hired many without credentials into 2nd level positions....

Someone should raise this nonsense perhaps in tomorrow's earnings call, fudging of these numbers.

Thank you for exposing this. Seems it's happening at many corporations and is one of the ways the govt reports "LOWEST UNEMPLOYMENT SINCE THE STONE AGE!!"
