Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

All cuts are only going to be with US based employees

All cuts are only going to be with US based employees, centers in Havant, UK , Brno, Czech Republic & Singapore Call Center, all of which have been hiring new employees for going on a year plus. You got to love the corporate freed taking 20 billion in tax breaks to only cut the US work force and farms it out overseas

Bumped this from @XmPKBaS-gkg. It shows the sad truth.

A reading of the Horowitz lawsuit should be included in the yearly COBC training. It is very disturbing.

The same thing happened in NJ regarding touting the work going to Bangalore...we were shown a shiny brochure of new IT site in Bangalore and told they are ramping up,,,,,,Our Dallas AVP who

shared this news seemed oblivious to the impact it had to us in the room hearing this even when

folks started asking how if the hiring in India would impact our jobs...he said we will experience downsizing perhaps 15-20% in 2019.....

That is an outright disgrace. This is the outcome of unchecked globalism and corporate greed. And a fundamental lack of respect for American workers. Our politicians need to put a stop to this but they won’t- they all have been bought and paid for by the globalist corporations. It’s up to us to be vocal about this issue.

...and to think that our legacy is the "American Telephone and Telegraph" company.

6 or more months ago in the Entertainment Group we had to watch a corporate video where they touted employees in Brno, Czech Republic, Bratislava & Kos in Slovakia. Nothing like rubbing our noses in the cheap labor taking American jobs. I left in December and I took my pension with me.

An AVP came here several years ago and was touting to us employees about the work ethic of Slovakia. He just rambled on about how hard they work and how they are so happy to have a job with a great company.

We left this meeting (we are in NJ) feeling defeated and shocked at what he said to our faces. It felt like we were being belittled by this guy.

What happened to respect for the individual?
