I really think this article is a load off bull, but a specific style of AT&T executive language can be read between the lines, so either they ordered it (I mean the Reuters news that this article refers to) or it was written based on the AT&T’s executive statements. On top of that it’s very unclear. Which ones are the weaker business units? Maybe they mean the ones that drive the most little revenue. But even those units are crucial to the company as a system, given that they provide support for the more profitable parts. In the end, I want to point out that I haven’t seen any major hirings.
