Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Layoffs are a way of life for at&t

35 years ago I went to work for at&t. Layoffs started a few months later. During my career, this has been pretty much SOP. A particularly brutal layoff was orchestrated by our new masters from SBC after they bought us. 50% in my group. Been through 3 or 4 more since then but there appears to be no end in sight. I am beyond caring now, but survived again. Next year I am done, one way or another.

As a white man I grew tired of my job being threatened since 1979.

"As a black man I am tired of my job always being threatened" congrats on the dumbest post I have read on here in a while (and that's saying something...)

@gms- Way to pull out your race card buddy. This has nothing to due with anyone's race. We need to all stick together, not get divisive and act like cry babies

Keep the racist trash off here- besides all of us are targets regardless of our skin color since we aren’t cheap Foreign labor.
