I’m telling you VZ numbers are alarming, especially in the context that VZ is focusing on 5G as its flagship business. But 5G is not here yet, and when it arrives in a wide commercial implementation what is the timeline before it starts to produce revenue that is significant enough to support a company of this size. There is a significant window of time in which VZ has the potential to lose a lot of money before 5G “kicks in” and I'm sure the workers will pay the price of that as usual.

I heard from some analyst at a FierceWireless 5G Summit (online re-broadcast) saying that they were expecting 4G to be the majority of revenue through 2025-ish. So this might take a while.
Not bitter , just realistic . Gonna do my time for a couple more years and then bounce out

At this point 5G is a marketing gimmick. The carriers are still screwing around with how to make it work. Verizon's idea of putting another box up, every twenty feet, isn't workable.
You don’t gotta be the smartest person in the room to see the future here . Union sold its members out in 2003 contract which pretty much gives us 2 tiers of employees . Temp workers on 2-3 year deals and contractors running 5G .

The absolute worse pick (speaking of Hans) from a board of directors at a time of saturation in this market and need for growth. IOT and being a big dumb pipe even with 5G for innovation will be nickle and dime revenue.
Why do we need faster speed on our phones? Seems pretty darn good on LTE to me, this gonna be a flop.
Where they have done 5G , it isn’t even legit . It’s like 5G “lite”.
