Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Is it over?

Not a peep from upper management, as if it's a normal day. Which is pretty sh..tty. When can I assume I'm safe for today? Thanks

They are not going to put that into a company wide email and kill morale more than they already have. You're not going to see statements like that. I have never seen them do that ever (and I have been here a long time).

Finance under Dan Fete is also getting some impact today - which wasn’t on anyone’s radar. Finance took 3 hits in 2018.

Not a peep from our upper mgmt either in Birmingham.... Heard the company sold the Alabama Operations Center building, so that means all the workers will be coming over here to the Data Center soon, unless there is a big layoff in March.

it must be really ugly company wide. this issued no memorandum. no blanket surplus. they knew who their victims were on Jan 3. people are being notified personally. i hop it is just today, at least for this quarter. there will be more layoffs
