Does anyone have an idea as to why my final check didn’t come in today? I have direct deposit set up. I tried calling payroll but of course they were closed. It’s frustrating not being able to know why it didn’t come in. Hoping someone with more knowledge can shed some light.

Did you electronically sign your severance agreement before 12/28?
Check for the deposit in your account. It did indeed came early. I and my other VSP co-workers got ours last Friday 1/18.
if you had direct deposit you likely would have been paid already. Most people I still communicate with across various states (Arkansas, Washington, CA) were all paid on 1/11. The daily calls told us we would be paid on 1/25 but we got it a week early. They also said vacation would be paid out on 1/11 but it was paid out on 12/28 in my case....another case of spotty execution...now just waiting for stock pay outs. My "job" for the last 2 months on verizon payroll was to navigate MY future and navigate the VSP steps and protocols. They told 44k of us we weren't needed anymore so I am still a little amazed at people who paid little or no attention to the VSP information :(
