Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

The state of At&t management.....

Coded after call, when assisting a team member with an issue. Like 2 minutes. Coded personal for like 3 minutes tops, had to pee. I am a bad bad boy. Took break 20 minutes late because I was stuck helping a customer. I am a bad bad boy. You all management tools can go f--- yourselves.

@eyf - lol - not even close. No clue who the OP could be, just know quite a few management employees in hub city (my old org, actually) who were reclassified as non-exempt two years ago and it has been a nightmare for them. Trying to stay as positive as possible and empathize as people vent their frustrations.

Seems a fair assumption that the OP & @vti are the same person, with or without the meds. Angry to make a point, learning he was unclear, rode in, an hour later, to clear up that moment of "temporary insanity."

Actually it’s understandable, the stress our company has inflicted is quite remarkable, and without a remote sense of ‘common sense.’ Temporary insanity is allowed here.

On a separate thread, someone said it well, ‘why not tells us our fate today, a Friday, so we have the weekend to digest, catch our bearings and work on the next steps of our lives, rather than walk in the next day (Tuesday) and have us act as nothing had happened.’

Bad management......Management, but nothing we’re not use too!

Guessing OP is non exempt management? Has to document every minute of every day. Must take breaks at specified times - even if it means dropping off of an important phone call or abruptly leaving a meeting. Break is exactly 15 minutes. The post is definitely not clear, but I sympathize if that’s what they are talking about. Being micromanaged is extremely frustrating. And in many cases embarrassing as you drop the call and say “sorry I have to take a break- yes, right now.”
