Do your normal workload. Do it well. All the extra stuff? Fit in what you can but don't be a tool and work longer hours. You fit in what you can and allow things to not get done in an optimal way if you don't have time. That's called taking ownership of your own life. They will dump on you to the extent you let them. Be a man and take control of your life. Or you can be a victim.
Don't do three times the work, let stuff slip. They will abuse you as much as they can do don't let them. Failure is an option and they're no limit to how much you can't do.
Seriously, it's a complete lack of respect that they're dumping it all on you. Don't be like me where I let it get to the point of health problems because of the stress. Be sure to laugh at them and hang up with your manager tells you about how HR limited everybody's raise to some figure below inflation.
Yeah my work load tripled and outside of a brief call from my director on day I was told...not one word...the more they dump on me and expect me to pick up without trying to incentivize me just makes the offer I need to leave that much smaller.... Waiting on sti before aggressively pursuing but already hgetting hits just off linked in resume....at least in my group poor management of how to motivate people denied
I took the vsp. My last day was Dec 28. A former coworker of mine was denied the vsp. She just submitted her resignation to vz. She was offered a Director position outside of Verizon. There are opportunities outside of vz.
Yes Yes, there is a change.....The “Wall” is being built .....
Grow up
I'm mentally checked out and interviewing externally. Good work VZ, you'll have me off the books for free.
