Night Crew Best Practice

As for best practices well we have not made the change yet here at 6407. But as a night associate I would suggest keeping the productive associates and terminating the unproductive. The problem is in my club there are like 3 of us who are productive and who have good attendance the others including my manager are very very unproductive, have attendance issues and never come to work on time. Coming in late all the time, long breaks and taking all night to stock 15 pallets is crazy and how these people remain employed is beyond me. We would be in better shape if maybe there was some sort of accountability for attendence and speed oh and dont get me started on forklift accidents.

Good luck all!

@2ahn since you can't read let me explain it to you. The guy said he is working on getting his degree. In other words, he is currently working at a job that allows him to have time to go to school. Once he is finished he will get a better job.

Not sure why you jump on someone because they are not going to break their back over a company that is c-apping on their associates. You can go ahead and sing their praises like it's not going down the toilet, bit most of us know better.

@2aav. Sounds like you are just a miserable person. Find joy in a job you like. Everything builds on itself. You said yourself you’re not going to get much by way of raises so why stay. Go pickup technical experience and become tradesman etc. find something you enjoy. Good luck with life

all I want to say is at least 5 years for my pay to increase a dollar more an hour, im going to give what I get from this company and for all you mo--ns that want to come on here and talk sh-- about me because i wont give everything I have to a greedy a-- company then you are pretty sad. See im in school getting my degree and one day I will be telling people just like you what to do because for some odd reason you think you are really something. The stories I have heard from the older employees sounds like yes your beloved company was once great to work for and they actually cared about there employees but them days are long gone but you keep doing what your doing this is how this company survives. You are prob all the ones that bought into the BYOD c-ap and couldnt wait to give the rights to your personnel phone to Wal-Mart and if you say you didnt then you didnt read all the b---s--- when you were installing it.

Agree with poster eyv....doesn't matter if you work your a-- off for this company, everyone gets the same 2%. Best practice is just do enough so you don't get fired. Why kill yourself?

No it’s bad behavior created by miserable associates that are so unhappy with themselves they project it to everyone else. Additionally managers that can’t hold people accountable for behavior. Stop worrying about what everyone else is doing or not doing, pretty certain it’s not your business and not part of your job description. At the very end of the day no one is keeping you from moving on. You stay because you are comfortable. You stay because no one else will tolerate your behavior.

That’s probably about 75% of Overnight shifts in Sam’s Club. LOL. It’s the culture that has been created by “Sam’s”

people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones” in English. This means that you should not criticize other people for bad qualities in their character that you have yourself.

Havent you been told everyone that works at Sams is equal unless you are a fresh associate If you are stocking 50 pallets and someone else is only stocking 15 then thats your fault because when you get that raise it will be the same as the worthless ones. Keep working your a-- off and see where that gets you.
