Right after we were told that there were going to be cuts, I attended a town meeting for our org. On the manager's slide from Singapore, one of the bullet points stated "Team members are young and skilled". I figured then that I was in trouble. Off payroll date is 2/12. :(

" Not sure why soo many people are worried about these layoffs. I heard there is an asteroid coming that will take out 10% of the population by April, then another in July followed by famine and locusts in October only to be capped off with nuclear winter in the 4th quarter. And those are facts...I heard it for sure."

Here is a thought for you all. They used various reasons to justify layoffs so far. They have to be very careful because to achieve meaningful savings they have to let go higher paid aka older workers. They are at risk for lawsuits charging age discrimination. They may win in the courts but in the court of public opinion aka customers they may loose. Now if they continue to use collaboration as their reason they may not achieve the numbers they need. This is just a hypothesis but what if they decide that to make the 1/12020 numbers they make a VZ like offer this summer? Thoughts?

Those are not “troll posts” and the third round starts in October. Just use Webphone to check headcount. 2018’s last layoff was 14,000 when Mac-e-fresh replaced Arnoldi

Randy is timing the layoffs so the benefits show up in each successive quarter to try and fool investors that his big bets are paying dividends.

First Round hasn’t even been announced and clarified. Aren’t you getting ahead of yourself? If you’re gone in round one, you don’t have to worry about round two.

Another 7k-10k? When was the 1st 7k layoff? There may have been 7K buyouts, but not layoffs. Sounds like another troll post.
