No closings were announced, PT time is now split into two "pots", PT and PP. One is for sick time other is vacation, time off, etc. In order to accrue time we have to work ten hours rather than the eight we work now to earn one hour PT or PP time. No layoff's, no closings, no manager restructure, nothing except we have to work more to earn less time off.

Sam's fired their entire demo staff on a Sunday morning without any notice. Never underestimate the power of our greedy home office leaders.
First off all this is not real for Sam's club. Second, when they do release news it is not all at once. They could switch overnight to days next week then do a management restructure the week after that. Then let go of PTC in 6 months. So getting any kind of news at this time of year doesn't mean people are safe for another year.
This is DC’s ..... they are different than stores. They would not know of closing or any changes .
Why would any of this be released on Sunday morning?
Dang, I really was hoping for my club to close. But, then again, why would they announce that there weren't going to be any closings? Maybe to make sure everything looks as normal as possible.
