We had two Big Dog’s visitors the last two day. My GM didn’t even care how our marketing teams did for blitz yesterday. All this seem very odd to me. Anyone have a clue yet?

@xec then why did we all know at least 2 days ahead of time that we were about to be shut down? Because receiving and the clerk had been with the company so long that when things changed the way the did we knew without a doubt. The day before, we were all sitting around talking about it. Several of us were in the conversation with receiving. There was no doubt. That night we all found out about the note on the time clock. We came in that morning and just sat around because we knew what was about to happen. Then sure enough we were told we were closing. It was no surprise. If you have a good receiving team, they will see the signs better than anyone. They WILL be able to tell you.
This is pure gossip. If Sams Club closes a club the Club Manager finds out the night before. The next morning the associates are told and asked to leave. This has been the procedure for years. Receiving won’t have a clue as well as other managers there. If two home office executives come in you can bet the CM’s will be focused on them. That will be their priority. This gossip only causes associate stress.

Talk to receiving. They will see the signs better than anyone.
