Everything points towards mass layoffs, but it looks like we will still have some window of time before they start on that big a scale. Why not try to beat them to the punch, update our CV and at least try to apply at other companies? If nothing we will get a sense of the job market for our skillset.

I left with the voluntary offer last July. After a few months of searching I found a decent job that people actually want you and need you to work there, pays well too. Not wasting my life anymore with the c-ap is the biggest gain. I get to decide to live a different life - different from this shxt since 2015.
Well, here it becomes nasty. Work is a mutual benefit between the employee and the company. Staying in the misery doesn't benefit either - why waste time - why waste life!
Nothing points to mass layoffs. Everything points to buyout offers, and some layoffs similar to what we saw in 2018. Read the quarterly report. Consumer landline declined another 17%.
But, we don't hear any problems with wireless, now do we? That's because they're making money.

Because these b--tards are going to PAY ME to leave. That’s why!!! After 5 rounds of this (either layoffs or relos) in the past 6 years, I want my severance and I intend to milk the cow as long as possible! Screw them!!
