I ordered a cell phone on Saturday. At the end of order I was supposed to schedule delivery. Someone is supposed to come to my house with the phone and set it up? What the heck is that? My modem broke in December and they sent someone out to install it instead of just shipping one. It took two weeks to get that fixed. When did this all this stupidness and time consuming c-ap get implemented? The phone I purchased was only $119.00. Seems like that’s not worth the time and money to pay someone to come by my house and set it up.

It is wrong any way yuo look at it it takes away union jobs in a store and nobody wants people bugging them at home!! Just another way for Randy to line his pockets!!
The people who come to deliver phone aren't door to door sales men. There White glove services thru a third party. This is to reduce stores having to show people set up and transfer. The door to door sales man usually comes after a service install such a internet or directtv to see if you have att for cellphone service. To my understanding at least.
Yes, I purchased a $119 for my kid. Why would somebody buy a kid a nice phone?

It helps cut down on fraud and stolen phones. They never tried to sell me anything. Offered to help set it up if needed. Said no thanks and they were on the way.

You bought a $119 dollar phone? What did you get - a 10 year old Motorola Flip refurb? Maybe the local sales guy is coming over to see if this was real. Probably has a bet on the line.
