Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Farewell HBO

Now that it's officially ours, I expect it to slowly but surely turn to rubbish like everything else AT&T touches.

Maybe Greenblatt will maintain its premium status. He was an exec at Showtime and an executive producer on SIX FEET UNDER. I'll be naive and hold out hope that he won't screw things up.

Not exactly a loss anymore. Their new shows are lousy and the liberal dogma surpasses Jim Jones cult status.

Yep...the premiere premium channel is gone. Will soon be loaded with c-ap just to make content.

Op is correct. Fortunately there is a work around. Artists about to be screwed can create a new show. All you need is a “typewriter and a camcorder”

Just watch. Incredible indie tv is about to pop and it won’t be owned by the pimp at&t
