As for preserving our jobs, my entire team is there for the severance. The Bay Area job market is such that a nice long paid vacation in between gigs is a gift.
Charlotte feeling like second class citizens? HAHAHA We don't at all! We are safer than most others, because we know we're the hub of the company now, not SF.
CLT is one of the ONLY remaining viable locations (along with Des Moines, Chandler, etc.). Look at job postings as proof.
Those in high-cost centers should be worried -- you're almost extinct in this battle-scarred company. WF is cutting everywhere.
Jamie chose CLT because she knows that (she's based in SF and didn't hold it there -- that ought to tell you something). Sorry y'all feel left out, but that's how we in CLT felt for years. Tables have turned.

It’s probably a reaction to the Charlotte people constantly complaining that they feel like second class citizens. I’m in SF but talk with Charlotte people every day. They constantly tell me how they feel. I try to tell them they’re better off because at least they don’t have to come in and be fake every day. The grass is always greener

I honestly think the marketing org needs to be completely transformed. Way too many people doing random tasks but no one is accountable. It’s not sustainable and is actually very frustrating. IM , OC , etc.
The delusional Queen still trying to salvage the biggest organizational fiasco I have seen in my 30+ year career. We will be treated to more transformation, that will likely make things worse, while more cuts are made in the name of efficiency and "streamlining" the process. People get more and more miserable, and morale sinks lower and lower, but Her Majesty persists until enough quit or are fired that she can say she saved more money than she is spending on this travesty.
