Bonus for surplussed employees

Does anyone know if employees who were surplussed in 2018 will get paid on March 6th (prorated to last day on payroll)? Will it be direct deposited or will a check be mailed?

I got my bonus (live check) on Saturday, 3/9. My last day on payroll was in May 2018.

No deposit for those that left on 2/18. Called HR as I haven't received mine yet. Person said that checks were mailed out on the 4th. Give it 5-7 business days to receive it. SMH. That is total b.s. So glad that I bailed out early.

Took me 2-3 days past the payout date to get mine. Actually mailed that day. Plus they are under no obligation to get to the Post Office first thing in the morning to let them start processing.

It's the 7th. No bonus. I was released 2/18. Why is it my bonus did not "generate"? When will we get our bonus?

There is no direct deposit anymore when you terminate. Your last check is FedEx. Everything else is mailed to your house. If you were released on Feb 18 your bonus did not generate. If I write anymore everyone will know who wrote this....

They terminate direct deposits the day you go off payroll.

The bonus check will be mailed to your home in the same fashion as the severance payment. You should see it within the week (waiting on mine as well). My manager from last year confirmed the dollar amount (before taxes) and it is prorated.

You’ll get your Company Performance Incentive (“CPI”) but no Individual Performance Incentive (“IPI”). Your CPI will probably be $3000-$4000 after taxes.

BTW, make sure you have a clear understanding about how to obtain your W2 statement NEXT YEAR. This bonus will trigger a 2019 statement you will need for your taxes. If you have the option of downloading vs. having them mail it to you, take the downloading. It's much easier. Escalation this process is not something you want to do. I did in the past and it took months to get my W2 when I received a post-employment bonus.

Yes you will get a pro-rated bonus based on how long you were on payroll in 2018.
