A complete disaster. Netflix, Apple and Disney are about to go shopping.
lol - can't say I am surprised. stankey is a piece of work.
This has been planned for a while and they waited to get past the appeal to pull the trigger. Did you really think they were going to pay all the money and not change things?
Randy and the Johns ruin everything they touch
I just read this article when I was on cnbc and I thought something like this would happen but not so quick. I left back in Sept of 18 and just never thought AT&T was a good fit for Direct TV or TW. I kind of wish AT&T went the route of Verizon or even just built the best fiber and cell system for data transport, and even went into the Cloud world. I know Microsoft and Amazon are very good at the cloud but AT&T has a much better fit with Data Centers and things of this nature. I had a huge number of data centers since I was an Equipment Engineer for South Bay (Silicon Valley). it seems this would have been better for AT&T.
AT&T is just too 'top down' of a mentality to go into the entertainment business. Those people have to be very creative, open, and 'just out there'. AT&T is very conservative and not open to ideas. IMO.
And the dismantling of WarnerMedia starts ...
