This is going to be a crazy month for every union position in the Midwest. sounds like garage re-preference in the Wisconsin area for all areas, Company is going to use meeting with the CWA on the 11th to try and force them to get membership to vote on the "final offer" or face bigger surplus on the 15th. C&E and Uverse surplus guaranteed on the 15th, management and union officials will work together to keep it out of the employees eyes until the 15th, just like times before. Luckily we have a manager in Wisconsin that will share the list out beforehand. This surplus is going to be bottom up only no numbers. With the new Genie extreme coming out, they aren't going to need as many prem techs around by end of Q3. Lets here about the other states!

I may be technically "management", but the fact that the company has a contingency plan that has someone like me, with no applicable skills for the job assignment, slotted to take 30 hrs of training plus 4 hrs on a site to do Prem tech stuff is a joke. I so admire the hard work it is to be a tech, but I'm not climbing in attics, crawlspaces, etc. It's ridiculous! The company needs to provide a fair deal to our union workers!
Strike or die! Naturally the union prefers die.
They can let the membership vote, but in the end, it's up to the membership.
But, a real "last best and final" offer is imposed, not voted on. I think it is necessary for AT&T to declare an impass first. It has to be a good faith impass. At that point, the NLRB might get involved.
Lol...union never was to bright! Gave up the locates to save a couple of centers. After giving up locates to contractors, the company went ahead and laid them off down the road. IBEW 21 🤦♂️
If the union saves trades job protections for the March 15 surplus to get a yes vote on the contract, they are s---ers. The company will then just wait until June 15 and Sep 15 to surplus the rest.
