Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Calls in are changing

So getting alot of feedback from particular mgmt regarding call ins. So you have those full time people who call in all the time, work the system and still get all the perks. That's gonna change. The more you call in, the less Sam's share. The more you work, added bonuses. 3 for 1 at Sam's. Probably going away real soon. Call in on event days or special events. Extra points. So much is changing. And this is all under the radar. Why. Give your employees heads up, be transparent, talk to those who actually work. Get rid of those who dont.

We have issues with associates using the system and call out for 3 consecutive days and it only counts as 1 absence . They don't bring know Dr. Note or excuse . I hope this changes also . It's good for those honest associates but hurts everyone when some one just mad or don't want to work .

As long as you got ppto to cover your whole shift, they can’t do anything. Call off as many times as you.

They can't keep the Sam's share. We hardly get much anyway. I don't call in on special events, but I do on a Saturday here and there. They never give me one, and I have kids who would like to see me on the weekends sometimes. So, I don't care about their points. My kids are more important than a few extra bucks. If it makes me look bad then so be it. I am confident in work, so if they want to use these points against me they can push out another good worker. I can easily find another job when I am ready. For now, I love my coworkers and my job.
