The only jobs that might go is things like HR and payroll. This was a vertical merger, meaning there was no overlapping businesses, unlike, say Sprint and T-Mobile, which is a horizontal merger.
So, it isn't many jobs. It'll be a small amount of jobs, that may well be handled by buyouts or reassignments.
Before long we taxpayers will be bailing them out.
That is not what he said. The goal is to pay down a substantial amount of the TW debt.
According to Randall on Fox Business: Our goal is to pay down 3/4 of the 140 billion in debt this year. Hefty goal considering!
Antitrust is kind of an obsolete idea anyway. American companies don't run the world anymore. US government can't do squat about Chinese and Koreans and their backers however they want.
What did he ‘win?’. A trip to bankruptcy court? I think this officially sinks the boat. They do not have the right players in the key positions in pull this off IMO.
"Randy wins again". This is a guy without too many wins under his belt, let's be honest.
