Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Now that the merger is approved there are no more excuses

Maybe it’s just me, but I always had a feeling that the company leadership didn’t mind the appeal process regarding the acquisition of TW dragging out this long. In that way they had an excuse for being nowhere in delivering the products in the media segment and integrating the acquired parts. Now thing will be more clear. Hope I’m wrong, but now that this thing is settled I think it will reveal the truth about AT&T’s inability to set up a good media product.

They might be waiting for DOJ to decide whether to pursue this matter further.

Says here that DOJ is done appealing.

...The department has no plans to seek further review," Justice Department spokesman Jeremy Edwards said in a statement.

There was a economic firewall between AT&T and Warner Media so the two companies haven't been integrated. That firewall will come down now if they're confident the Administration won't flip-flop. So, this is day one of the unfettered merger.
