People were talking about another round of layoffs before the end of the month, which leaves only four days for those rumors to come true.
Have there been any more indications that we might see more layoffs this week or did those rumors turn out to be false?

I believe you are at the wrong company for that to happen. They are here to stay unfortunately.
Not enough HR support people to handle everyone at one time. Typically it takes from 60-90 days to get folks off the books depending on your status and region. HR, payroll, benefis, Fidelity, etc. don’t have the personnel to deal with deal with massive numbers at one time. If this is as massive as the rumors lead us to believe then the schedule has been spread out.

It seems to be on a quarterly cycle.
