My neighbor had it & he complained it never worked correctly. Eventually he tore it out, stopped paying for it, said it was overpriced junk.
This is cutting edge future technology? Boy are we in worse trouble than I thought.
If it happens, about time!!
The technology improvements have shortened or eliminated the life cycle of a lot of services. How many people are going to pay to have wires run throughout their house to have a home security system installed? Or telephone jacks installed in every room for telephone services. Can remember installing dual jacks in some rooms so that the kids could access the additional line.
A money losing assets that should be sold to the contracted monitoring company. Lots of assets under consideration to sell right now. Mainly lots of real estate.
These days you can go to Lowe’s to get the equipment with a lot of the same functionality.
Sell it. Loser product from day 1
svj - LOL. And that sensor integration is is only $1 per month....per channel.... in your DirecTV package.
Digital Life was always a loser. I felt that when Ralph dlV left the company a lot of the energy and focus left too. So I liked the guy. But DigitalLife was c-ap from day one and I hated to see him hype it. It is so labor-heavy and we just have no expertise in this area. And as others have said, basically anyone can install this type of equipment these days.
No insights here. I think this would be a good move for AT&T to make as there is so much competition in this market. I can't image it's a big moneymaker for us, though I have Digital Life and I like it. Better than ADT.
