layoff day is doesn’t have to be announced 2-3months prior as per local laws. They just have to be on payroll for that long or sign a waver accepting severance.

environment is quite bad in IT everywhere
Lets hope so.
@XLbWbKy-2ikb Why? Are people expecting layoffs and morale down as a result?
Environment is quite bad in wireless IT at Verizon India.
Is not layoff. Is agile...
yes. rebadge.
@XLbWbKy-1mhn Outsource where? You mean rebadge to Infosys?
They don't need a 3 month notice to outsource though.
Cant be let go by March since they need to give 3 month notice
The seed doesn’t care about USA workers. He is a disgrace to Verizon another ceo to line his pockets yet do nothing but continue to ruin the company. A one and a two and a three start the bubble machine and on with the show
@vrx what have you heard they are outsourcing next? Especially since the initial wave has not started doing ANYTHING after 7 weeks where they had to backfill for people who declined.
There are definitely some VPs going. I've also heard the rumor about SA. Time will tell if that's true or not.
The 2 top mo--ns. Who are they and what is your source. I asked my boss and some other sources about SA and they had not heard anything
Layoffs. They should jettison the whole lot. VDSI is worthless. No sence of urgency. They work is sub par. Now that two if the top mo--ns are out if IT. This will be called out as a scam. Still wondering how may pockets were lined with the bad for business infosys deal. That will come out too.
we can only wish.
all USA jobs that have no direct contact with customer is being shipped to India. They are hiring !
Who cares about India....Lets worry about the GOOD OLE U S OF A!!!!
haven't heard about India in particular, but did hear more IT work is being approved for Infosys.
