I saw this article also but if you look AT&T which I think was 6th on the list it suggested it had an employee 70% approval rate across the board. Verizon had 90%. The other odd thing I saw was that they identified Company "type" and Verizon was identified as "Communications" and all Companies on the list identified but AT&T was the only Company on the list identified as "Other" which I thought was really vague and odd,,,,

The press in this country is a goddamn joke. It’s not free fair or informative. This story is a great example. That is all.

Great Place ????? Ask the employees both non management and management in Connecticut who were ALL told Friday they are either gone or must move to either Atlanta ( non management ) or New York City ( management ) and then ask if they think ATT is great.

sad thing is this cold be a good be a good company. politics, forced rankings, and off shoring has helped ruin it. too many people being forced to be "yes" people and follow the chain of command without real knowledge of any of the real work.

That's just like working at AT&T or any big company. The company has 260,000 employees, so everyone won't have the same experience. It depends on the work being done, and the management team one reports to, and so forth.

But, it's a booming economy. If AT&T is so terrible, there are opportunities elsewhere. But fact be known, AT&T has a terrible problem in dealing with the unwinding its obsolete landline telephony.

That business is leaving, along with anyone still doing that work.

It’s a good place to work at if you want to be constantly stressed out or if you are into sketchy sales tactics and have no ethics.
