I have a friend who was laid off from WF last summer and is upset they can't find a job that pays what WF paid. I told her it would be difficult to find a job that pays the same without a degree and that she may need to take what she can for now. If I am laid off I plan to go back to school and take what job I can to get by.
This is what I'm so afraid off. I'm ready to leave Wells Fargo. I've been ready for a long time now. The environment here has become so toxic that I have to force myself to go into work each day. But I'm too scared to just quit for this exact reason. I can deal with losing 10, even 20 percent of my current income. But people are talking about having to settle for half their previous pay, and I don't think I could handle that financially.
Is it really that bad out there?
