IT is to bad that nepotism has ran unchecked for years it has had a terrible impact on the west. Can we do anything about this?

yep, in some cases it goes unnoticed because the wife does not use the married name. The family affair - isn't that (and maybe still is) what was going on in retail (now TechDev) for years? The infamous Indian now near the top of the food chain had his wife under his command for years. Everyone knew, including his manager. All of his buds were promoted at frequencies like no other. For those that don't know, before he reached the level he is at now he accompanied Pam on multiple trips to India -- presumably to accelerate outsourcing.

+1 for TechDev nepotism. It's fairly common throughout the company though and across groups. Anybody that's been around a while already knows a few that have found this favor.
Always be cautious, especially in Tech Dev, so much nepotism , it's stunning when you figure it out, it's a family affair
Look at the last leader of mobility before he took his golden parachute. They were found guilty of adding superfluous charges on the mobility bill so he took his golden parachute and everything was good.
