There’s been numerous talks about getting rid of the site but they seem to be holding on for some reason. Just kind of want it over with. Anyone with any real intel or news on this?

For ALL of frederick? please be honest and not post rumors, there are a lot of stressed out people in Frederick, please be considerate.
Last heard pre notice in April for those in Fredrick.
There is a poster here who claims inside information that the site is closing this year. However the lease is through 2022 with a very costly penalty to break it. There are rumors that they could consolidate into two of the three buildings and lease the other building to another company.
I know it feels like you just want it over with already, but you really don’t. The last thing the local job market needs is another influx of workers with similar skill sets looking for jobs that really don’t exist around here anymore. I’d hang on at Wells until you no longer can, but I would absolutely be doing everything in your power to craft powerful resumes, boost your LinkedIn profile, network and explore other companies in the area. Be ready for when that day comes and don’t for a second hang out while on severance. Be aggressive in finding the next opportunity.
