Since Randy is the Chairman of the board, he has no worries. He can squash any coup to get rid of him in a matter of seconds. I don't think he really has a good grasp on what it is to actually work at ATT and when he worked in Finance at Bell South he had no clue what kind of work we did. The boy thinks he is King Midus and everything he touches is gold.
Why should he care? He’s sitting fat, happy & rich.

I’d say he’s smart to get into this position by whatever means he did and then entrench in by appointing like minded loyals. But he is not competent by any stretch of imagination.
Randall is FUMU at its best. Who loses $8 billion for NOTHING T-mobile and still continues on to buy a sinking ship DTV. Then go out and buy fake news CNN and still not get fired? He screws up and you the employee get the damn boot in the a--.

The Board of Directors is Randall's "boss." If they are letting him do as he has done, he's not going anywhere.
Employees didn't turn against leadership rapidly. Randall and the all the executives have caused failure after failure. They never learn from their foolish mistakes. They have driven my once beloved company into the ground. In their minds they can spin it with P.R. , but even that will not work anymore. Everyone sees through their B.S. I'm glad I l voluntarily eft this year .
Are you kidding- have you seen him at these “high level” meetings? All relaxed in his chair, legs crossed, top leg bouncing in confidence- chuckling with the big wigs in government and business. He’s not aware of ( or concerned with) anyone who’s left here. After the McElfresh town hall the other day, one of the speakers told us that society now “expects us to take action on social issues”. Today there was an article on Insider on how T is petitioning the government to allow illegal ‘dreamers’ to stay in the US...., as if we are a united company of liberals. And to that end - a company of what? I don’t even know what we are anymore. So no, he doesn’t get anything.

It’s not just 1 failure, so it’s not rapid. T-Mob acquisition was a failure. DTV was a failure, or miscalculation. Etc.
