How many employees in the 1Q2019 have recent medical conditions which may have been a contributing factor in the decision to be labeled as a surplus employee? The ADEA ( Age Discrimination In Employment Act) does not include this information. One I know of has an ongoing FMLA case, another has work accommodations as a result of a stroke, and yet another and another, and another. What do you think the percentages may be?

There are several people I know who used disability for medical who also got hit.
Add me to the list
I developed a heart condition 3 years ago and will never be a hundred percent, i also had a newborn born last year and used FMLA on both occasions and still have time available for usage. Hit 20 years in Jan and surplused Feb. Unlucky or On the Radar.???
Anyone who have AT&T that additional biomedical info, Fitbit meal info etc info is a fool. it was under the guise of discounted premiums for insurance BUT all of that is being used for layoff purposes b. This is a company that loves BIG DATA. They are weaponizing it against their employees as well. I’d even be careful with utilizing mental health benefits
Well, AT&T wants to manage your vacation time, there is no sick time, and when you need to see a doctor, many workers will sacrifice their health to keep their job. When you run out of vacation time and need medical care like me, you are forced into telling AT&T all about your HIPA privacy when they strong arm you into signing a release to access ALL of your medical records.
Maybe. Hope you haven't been filling out those voluntary health surveys, telling T about all the expensive health issues you have. Also, better hope you have not been taking sick days.
I am another
I actually do see a pattern. At least 3 of the 10 in my group has medical issues ..I need to check on the other 7. Interesting theory...
There must be a way to quantify this
that is risk/legal also known as sedwick to get you out
True for me
