I have talked to several managers who were surplussed and something I'm noticing is that nobody who has an active contingency assignment was surplussed. I'm wondering if could be why some people who are remote got passed in this round of surplusses, is anybody aware of a person with a 2019 CP assignment being impacted?

Excellent, that means I'm still eligible to get cut later this year
I'm a supervisory employee who has had to make layoff decisions and I can guarantee (at least in my org) that CP assignments or lack thereof played absolutely no role in the decision.
Meant current job ...And I also stopped going into the office on my elimation notice date. Just remote log in everyday, check for all the jobs that don't exist in career path and start looking for external jobs. I used the company compute and internet to do this as well. And don't buy into the help your remaining team member guilt trip....none of it matters

So if you had a contingency assignment and now you are laid off, this is more good news. I went off payroll in the 1st round this year. Don't even bother to do your client job until 3/28. They told you your glob was eliminated...I didn't do any work and they didn't say a word. FOCUS is on you.
"I have a strike assignment and I am off the payroll March 28. Just got an email today saying I need to start my training. HA! Also, I got the ADEA list for who in my org got laid off (by title) and age. Thing is, it isn't my org. Juan Flores org, Tech Field Services - 48 people. I'm not in that org. This whole thing has been a mess."
That is hilarious you have a contingency training and you got surplussed. Maybe if you show up for contingency work they will pay you. lol. you can't make this stuff up.
Active CP19 assignment contract end date is 8/2019 and my last day is 3/28
Did you guys saw the zombi invasion with Brad? Those are foreign workers coming to get your job
You had pending training? A lot of us with 2018 assignments are still on the hook because leadership did not negotiate a competitive contract. It's been a year, and still nothing.
