Where are we on the total number they want to cut? When can we expect more?

"The woman running the call said oh no worries we have this call every week 52 weeks out of the year"
that is just a sick way to run a company. its like hire everyone and see who sticks against the wall.
When the quarterly layoffs happen, 1 or 2 Live hosts conduct a "phone in" Q & A in the afternoons to cover any concerns everyone has. They give a standard detailed speech then take questions....it’s up to 90 minutes, start to end. This is done perhaps twice a week until the 60 days are up.
When the next quarterly chop comes up, it begins again. I went through it when the axe fell in October 2016, was able to climb back aboard before the New Year. These phone Q & A rooms can only accommodate about 500 callers, the sessions are recorded.
After that, you talk with HR ( I strongly suggest you tape that call for their accuracy) if you have a doubt about the person dispensing info....call back, speak with someone else. But have all your questions lined up……Good luck
I was laid off two years ago. On the weekly surplus call the question was asked what happened if we missed a call. The woman running the call said oh no worries we have this call every week 52 weeks out of the year. I knew at that moment this was a new way of life for ATT.
Late April should be the next round of notifications, definitely in ATO, not sure of other orgs.
Safe to say that every quarter for the foreseeable future will have some kind of surplus. It just rotates through different orgs. I would expect each org will be impacted at least twice this year, some even more.
Always expect layoffs at AT&T. Always.
