Lack/limited Diversity

Has anyone notice that within senior leadership and Humana at Home there is very little diversity? I wonder what is the role of the inclusion and diversity council in having and maintaining diversity. I also observed that with what little diversity is within leadership, many of those leaders were let go in the recent RIF. Anyone else seeing this pattern?

Breakdown of minorities in healthcare. So only women, people over 40 and black people work at Humana. That doesn''t sound right. Im pretty sure it isn't. Do you have the breakdown on those numbers? I'd love to hear. I am curious how many of those 21 are left. Nobody seems to know. What did they do with them?

But, on the other hand, the jobs were ending, you were put in other jobs, and statistically, that’s the breakdown with minorities in healthcare. Being treated horribly is something different

In October, 21 FCMs manditorally moved to teephonic. They were all told take it or leave it and treated terribly. All women. All over 40. Almost 1/4 black. A bunch left including me. Best thing I ever did. It was mean and humiliating. I have never been treated so bad.

When you say leaders of color are you referring to black leaders? Just curious as I see many different nationalities represented but limited black leadership.

I have observed this as well. White men and women are frequently promoted and placed in leadership positions at a greater rate than non white associates. Inclusion efforts at Humana are smoke and mirrors. They use they tout their efforts with LGBTQ associates as progress as if that group doesn’t have biases towards non white associates. Leaders of color that I knew have been either layed off or demoted to a non leadership position.
