Vz forced telecommuters to relocate to a hub , related to their position, or take a severence package 3 years ago. Service and orders mgrs to Texas etc.. Sounds like these these high paid consultants from McKinsey or Bain take their business model and sell it to one company and then their on to the next executive suite. There's more to come unfortunately.

What some of you are saying makes no sense. its the millennium workers aka cheaper labor who prefer to telecommute. the older workers tend to move further from the office for better schools and lower crime/home costs. the millennium workers tend to favor cities so if the company is doing this to force out older aka more expensive workers it may backfire as the millennium workers tend to want more balanced life so they prefer to telecommute so ol "stodgy" companies like aTT may not be able to attract that much to offset the older workers leaving, plus millennium workers tend to move from job to job
One of the slides submitted to the court suggests IBM's effort to cut down on remote workers, and force staff to come into centralized offices in a handful of cities, was part of its effort to achieve its "seniority mix" correction through headcount reduction – given that younger workers tend to be more willing to relocate to the likes of San Francisco, New York City, and Austin than older workers who have settled down with their families within communities.
"seniority mix correction" because "putting you out to pasture" is no longer PC enough I guess.
Great to see how they prefer rootless slaves they can migrate anywhere on a whim over families. Bye bye America...
