Spoken like a true troll trying to get folks to leave instead of taking the public layoff brunt.

A jerk is a jerk regardless of their age, trying to pin them with a non relevant age related label just distracts from the real issues.

That being said, I want those damn kids to get off my lawn, I'll teach them...where is my garden hose?

+1000 to s—ckstobeme

Very well stated.

Some

Of us have juggled ALL of that AND endured 5 pink slips in the past 6 years. Either through involuntary layoffs, or being told not once, but TWICE, we would have to move. So we’ve scrambled to find new jobs.

I’m tired. I’m tired of giving the company my all with ZERO work life balance. I’m sick of working 20 hour days in a war room on the weekends only to have to scramble to keep my job YET AGAIN.

It is impossible to keep people

Motivated with the constant threat of cuts.

So yes, we are emotional. Many of us are overworked, over stressed and just done.

@1grl: Oh come on. What the f--- does being a millenial have to do with any of this? I'm a millenial and OP is a douchebag, plain and simple. He likes to stir sh-- and you're associating it with a whole group of likely unrelated workers. Let's not pretend all the insensitive a--holes were born in the 90s.

@1umo, well said. If you noticed, our whimpy OP pretty much contradicts his own piece, “Quit Posting Feelings” had you noticed? Last act of the emotionally unstable, the use of caps in the sentences, they really don’t have anything of substance so off into the yonder they go....it is very amusing to watch!

Unlike you, he is probably a young Millennial, no responsibilities with no skin in the game. When he gets home, he runs upstairs to relax waiting to hear those two words he longs to hear, “dinner time!”

To which he responds, “ok Mom, be right there!”

@1umo, brother, I couldn't have said it any better. Just perfect. Its that very history of busting our tails that certainly entitles so many of us to feel betrayed and stabbed in the back. It comes from being part of a generation where words and actions meant something. And especially ones like 'loyalty' and 'respect'. This is not how hard working good people should be treated.

i know that feeling of betrayment you feel and what it takes to be a good employee, and unfortunately in the end they do not care ... keep your head up.

OP will need to look behind his back the rest of his life with his attitude.

OP may be in a low pay low stress job at AT&T and can easily find another job at low pay. Those of us who feel betrayed have lived a different life at AT&T for years and decades. I've juggled kids, spouse and work for years. Long work hours, escalation calls, status to leadership and as soon as we get it all fixed..................next project is up and time to hit the ground at full speed. It never ends. Also, working from home while sick or or or what about getting home from vacation and logging on so I can get a head start on the hundreds of emails. It has been go go go just to keep my supervisor mildly satisfied. Now we get told there will be layoffs "AGAIN" We don't know the criteria they will use for the layoffs so everyone stresses out about being on the chopping block. Pardon me if I feel a bit betrayed. Maybe if the company told us what is required to be what they consider a good employee and asset to the company. Sorry if my stress seems silly to anyone out there maybe I should not have taken on financial burdens of a House, Spouse, Kids and college bills for the kids. S---s To Be Me

I've invested 25 years into at&t and if I feel betrayed, it's rightfully so.

Also, no rule on this site says I should curtail my feelings, so, please let me do my thing
