Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Somehow Humana gets in your head

I left three months ago, and it was the BEST decision I've made in a very long time. I, too, didn't take lunch or breaks, and sitting at a desk 9 plus hours a day was killing me. Somehow Humana gets in your head, or at least mine, and had me thinking they paid the best, cared the most, and something was wrong with me if I struggled to meet impossibly high metrics. That was such BS. I had NO trouble finding another position, I'm getting paid several thousand more a year than I was at Humana, the position is WAH and my employer is wonderful. Yes, I'm one of those that left, found better, and wonder why I took their abuse as long as I did.

I have the same feeling. Think I’ll be leaving soon. Thanks for posting this @W0ini6s-11dmb

I went to another insurance company. But first, I took a solid two weeks off and recovered from the Humana madness, then I started job searching. The positions are out there :-)

This really is reassuring to hear. Thank you for posting. May I ask where you moved to? I'm ready to start looking. Burnt out.
