You obviously flunked remedial finance. Some analysts upgraded T lately. Wall Street loves to see people lose their jobs. Look at VZ stock after their headcount chop recently. I have no idea how far above $30 T can run in the next 2 years, but I think it's got a better shot from here to $40 than it does to $20. Especially after Ma Bell kicks thousands of more employees in the head with more and more job cuts. Name of the game- lean and mean = profit growth. There could easily be a time in T when it is far more important to have a string of hit new movies and TV shows than it is to launch the latest mobile x-G network. Good or bad, T is placing most of their eggs in the creative content basket going forward. Lots of debt riding on that c-sino table bet.

@1coz - yes, and the sooner and more dramatic the stock falls towards it's fair market value, the worse the layoffs will be
