Call centers and Stores as well as individual market ops (reduce from 6 to 3) is next target, and they are not offered with VSP.

Why is Verizon doing the exact opposite of T-Mobile when it comes to call centers? Do you have any idea how many ex-VZWers in Charleston hopped over to the brand new T-Mobile center and are loving it? T-Mobile’s now up to 17 centers in the US, and even with the Philippines center they have, TMOB will fly American associates over for 6 weeks at a time to shadow and make sure they aren’t just “cheap labor”.

Verizon, why are you failing?

In reference to cutting call centers - are you referring to Landline or Wireless?

I left last year. It was hard as I had nothing lined up. Took me about 4 months to find a decent job - the pay is about 5% less (total comp) but my stress level is 90% less. My commute is much better too... I am a network engineer.

Good luck to all, I know it's a big day today for many of you - good luck!
