you can actually get away with this so long as you "complete" whatever work you're assigned, and don't make too many errors while doing it. speed is rarely measured, and if you feel pressured, just claim that you're being harassed by your manager and unfairly targeted. So long as you can find at least one other individual that is doing worse than you, but still has a job, you're safe. Just don't be at the complete bottom of the ladder.
To the person that said they'd be fired in no time, you would be surprised how much people get away with that work in the back office. If you work in a call center, however, you will get fired on the spot for small infractions.

Well, I think your strategy is wrong. S--- up to managers and leads, do lunch and outside activities together, go to their house and then yours until you are one of the clan. That’s how it seems to work for others

Seriously? Has there not been 1 person you’ve come across while at Wells Fargo that reminded you to do the right thing? I don’t believe for one second you’re going to do any of those things...
sounds like my processing and underwriting group, but don't forget the following; take at least one 10 minute break every hour, take at least 2 30 minute breaks to walk downstairs to get coffee, 1.5 hour lunches are mandatory, and don't start a new file after 2pm - if you can fit in a few personal phone calls each day, that's a bonus.
