How many folks have senioritis? Try as I might it has been hard to stay focused this week. After Dec 10th I think I will be able to get back in it regardless of the date, but this week is tough. 25 years VSPer

I was checked out after some shifts due to the real estate restructuring earlier this year. How easy it is to forget that we already lost 5k employees earlier this year. Mashing that VSP button has me in full slack mode; It can not end fast enough. I feel like a kid watching summer creep forward while the second hand ticks off agonizing moments.
24 years VSPer, I have been checked out since clicked button. I have trouble getting focused in last couple months. What productivity and morals are not my concern. The company will look much more different next year. Verizon just followed some steps of other failed outsourcing, like Fannie Mae, but shot it self in foot first for never bringing original employees back. Fannie Mae eventually had to hire them back to run the business and plus more hiring to fix their failure. But the moral will not be the same anymore.

I haven't done squat for about two months and I am staying (hopefully).
Productivity in my office is way down.
Yeah productivity and morale certainly goes down. But the suits don't care and cuts will continue.
5 YEE or bust!
Much of the company checked out when the letter came out in September. The 4Q waste would be a monumental cost if anyone could put a $$ value on it.
I've been mentally checked out since Early - Mid October. This week I've somewhat tried to get some work done. But yes.. Senioritis is in full effect!
This is a totally different company than it was on October 30th, 2015. A BIG turn for the worse.

Definitely can't focus. The experience over the last 3 years has been so miserable and now that it is down to the wire, every fiber of my being wants to run as far away from this place as humanly possible.
I’ve been checked out for weeks.
For me, just knowing a decision is finally close is enough to get me moving again. 4 more days buddy- good luck to you.
