Found this article to be an interesting read, as it sums up all of the aspects of the case in the Appeals Court regarding the merger of AT&T and Time Warner. I think, despite that, some facts point that DOJ has a case that nothing dramatic will happen and that there is no chance that the deal will be overturned. I Would like to get some other takes on this matter on this thread.

There was lots of grilling of DOJ attorneys, and only a few questions of AT&T attorneys. Just a waste of tax dollars, it's done, go on get to work on D--g manufactures collusion on d--g pricing.
The DOJ has the burden of proving every element of this vertical integration case beyond a reasonable doubt. But while AT&T isn’t required to prove anything in order to avoid the merger , the DOJ doesn’t have to prove guilt business behavior to the point of absolute certainty. And despite the general rule that the DOJ bears the burden of proof, there are instances when the burden shifts to the defendant, all you need is a very good litigator, something the US government does not have
Sounds like it's very unlikely anything will be undone.
The government was obviously right about what would happen if this merger was approved (because it's all happening) but he's not going back on the initial decision. The deal isn't going to be undone.
The irony here is that it would probably be in the company's best interest if it was undone.
