Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Next Major Layoff for Mortgage will be in February

I cannot tell you who I am or position, but I am privy to extremely delicate information. There will be a mass RIF in Mortgage in mid to late February. While I do not know the exact numbers or locations yet as they are still running everything through HR and making sure all local and federal laws are compliant,I can say it will be around 2,500 or more team members stateside. With App volume down across the board, MTG is extremely overstaffed. It would not surprise me in entire MAP Centers are closed with Des Moines and Minneapolis absorbing their current pipelines

Anybody have any further info on an RIF this month?

They have started hiring again in my dept and we are super super slow.

It makes no sense but I have seen hiring and layoffs overlap before.

Not sure about Frederick closing in 2019. All the telephones are currently being replaced along with the entire building security system also being replaced. Lot of money to spend if the building is going to close. Just sayin'

I don’t think fully this is a troll but of it isn’t, plans change all the time for the upper level strategy. Sloan did comment specifically the Mortgage is over staffed and did not make that same commentary about any other line of business. This was at a financial summit for Goldman Sachs recently.

I dont know if they are a troll, but common sense says the Mortgage Division will be hit hard and soon. Average pipelines in my office are only around 10-13 loans for each HLP and the top Processor only handed off 12 loans to closing last month

Blah blah blah. This is just fear mongering. You say nothing but enough to stoke the fears in hard working people. Provide specifics or zip it you troll.
